Maia joined Andersen in 2026 as a Senior Associate. Maia is a qualified Solicitor of England and Wales. Prior to joining Andersen, Maia worked at Deloitte Georgia, where she advised local and international clients on corporate, commercial, regulatory, and M&A matters. She has extensive experience in cross-border transactions, corporate restructurings, due diligence projects, and the drafting and negotiation of complex commercial agreements across a range of industries.
Before joining Deloitte, Maia held in-house legal positions at Bank of Georgia and Georgian Manganese LLC, advising on corporate governance, banking and finance, employment, commercial, and regulatory matters.
Maia holds an LL.M. in Corporate and Securities Law from the London School of Economics and Political Science and an LL.M. in International Business Law and an LL.B. Maia currently serves as an invited lecturer in Fintech Law at the University of Georgia.
